I haven't looked at the source yet, but it looks like ShareLink might achieve two important purposes, and could perhaps be extended to two more: - Maintain a list of files on Freenet. - Publish them as a freesite. (Both of these it achieves) - Publish them as a Library index for the eventual distributed search code. - Optionally link them to a WoT identity to enable that distributed search code to work.
Is the author of ShareLink here? Does anyone else have an opinion? Also, ShareLink does not necessarily compete with FlogHelper; they could easily be used together, with some links they could even have the feel of the same site. I also think we should work towards Sone and possibly the jfniki being bundled. Bundled does not mean you have to have a traceable git repository, it only means that a core dev has reviewed the code and deployed it. We don't require all issues to be fixed, only critical ones - which we may fix ourselves if need be. We would obviously want to avoid forking. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
