FYI it looks like the appimage (kicad-testing-10.99.0.284.gd5f84b7a83-x86_64.AppImage) might truly be 10.99.
(I am using the real 10.99, and there was a schema update a few days ago. My project's schematic and pcb files are "(version 20260326)". And I can successfully open them with kicad-testing-10.99.0.284.gd5f84b7a83-x86_64.AppImage) - Daniel On Wed, 1 Apr 2026 at 11:40, Eeli Kaikkonen <[email protected]> wrote: > In https://downloads.kicad.org/kicad/linux/explore/10.0-testing the > version string should be 10.0 + something, now it's 10.99 + something. > Either the string is just wrong, or it actually includes the wrong version. > In the latter case this is potentially dangerous because someone may > accidentally save with new format and no way back. > > Eeli Kaikkonen > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "KiCad Developers" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to [email protected]. > To view this discussion visit > https://groups.google.com/a/kicad.org/d/msgid/devlist/CAP0gFe-iy_TzFr7cVXgnzac498XcnCPwpMNpAXOdo%2ByFv_gPfQ%40mail.gmail.com > <https://groups.google.com/a/kicad.org/d/msgid/devlist/CAP0gFe-iy_TzFr7cVXgnzac498XcnCPwpMNpAXOdo%2ByFv_gPfQ%40mail.gmail.com?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer> > . > -- - Daniel Fredericton, NB Canada -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KiCad Developers" group.
