Yea it makes sense to me, and I agree. Though I think its still worthwhile to have it be an overridable parameter so you dont have to have a server wide ms timeout for what might just be a few problematic hosts. So I wasnt sure if there was a way to still have ms be overridable without having explicit params for them, was going to keep digging
