I was torn on the requirements of having plugins link in libtscapi.so, but there are pros and cons. A con is that we now have to change how non-core plugins are built (i.e. more user complexity). A significant pro is that we get explicit version control of plugins! Meaning, it will no longer be possible to (accidentally) load a 7.x plugin against an ATS 8.0 installation.
