I'd also like this to get to the dev-list first! There has been partial agreement on the need of ripping log processing out of the invoker entirely for various reasons. That will render this entirely defunct. It's unclear to me how this change fits into changes discussed on the dev-list (either regarding concurrent activation processing, logging in general or a general architectural overhaul)
