@sanastas Thanks for the explanations. Well, I'll leave the CR here to the ones more familiar with this code :-). But I'll definitely keep my eye on this. We are currently profiling our ingestion speeds and we've seen that these `SkipListMap`s are one of the major pain points. So I have high hopes for Oak to improve upon this.
