The initial startup (3 Streams instanced processed about 7500) -- after that, we crash / restart 3 times processing about 2500 message (per crash and per restart phase).
Ie, process 7500, crash and process 2500, restart and process 2500, crash again and process 2500, etc. So maybe even 25,000 keys might be better. Not sure if 15,000 are enough?
