While I don't disagree, doesn't this "just" apply to the CLI itself (at least by common use of the tool) and not the platforms installed? Then it would obviously solving the problem of users still having an old Cordova CLI with old pinned versions installed. But the first `cordova platform add android` experience of a user would still be suboptimal unless we always keep the pinned versions up to date. Correct?
