I'm hitting all sorts of issues with this. The configuration of new versions of the ErrorProne plugin appear to be significantly different than our current version. The configuration syntax is different, but there are also some incompatibilities:
* The `apt` plugin needs to be updated * We need to snap to a `error-prone-core` version containing the same version of `guava` that we use * The errorprone javac compiler seems to be incompatible, perhaps because it needs JDK 9? I'm going to close this for now; I recommend we keep the current errorprone for now and come back in a few months to see if the situation has gotten better.
