For upper state machines, case CACHE_EVENT_OPEN_READ, doesn't mean first_buf has header Doc.
In read form write process, the cache_vc->alternate save head info, the cache_vc->first_buf is NULL. I think ShowCache::lookup_url should call Cache::lookup function, In case, cache_vc callback upstream ECACHE_DOC_BUSY. or check cache_vc->first_buf is NULL, response Cache Lookup Busy.
