@dlg99 actually, think about this more, it's a general problem with the MDC approach. It worked before because "New Ensemble" was being printed _before_ actually trying to write to zookeeper, do the request hadn't lefts the ordered executor thread pools. Once the request goes to zookeeper, the MDC context is lost. For now, I've commented out that check.
