Oh, right now things seem definitely better than on AppVeyor. No doubt about it.
The caching point is a more general point that I know many people try to set up on their CI configuration, regardless of the provider (AppVeyor, Travis...), because it's a way to save some minutes here and there, therefore it helps reduce latencies and development turnaround when testing things on CI.
