@mistercrunch now that we're removed the Python 2.7 dependency we could probably move towards using something like [pip-tools](https://github.com/jazzband/pip-tools) or [pipenv](https://github.com/pypa/pipenv). Previously something like `pip-tools` wasn't viable when we supported both Python 2 and Python 3.
