The problem seems to be still the setting of environment variables in Windows, and a clear sign for that is this: > C:\>echo %M2_HOME% > %M2_HOME% If, as you said, you are using those instructions at the pointed address and setting the environment variables using the system properties dialog, remember that it is a good idea to restart your command line to see any effects. I will do some tests as soon as I boot my windows system.
