Already started working on it :) I got your code (with few adjustments) to work with the current core and i did a test with gnome nautilus (mounted an xwiki repository into my loacal file system). Browsing is ok but need to work on editing / opening and many other DAV commands. Reading RFCs seems to be a fun work after all (i thought it would be scary). I'll make a detailed post soon.
