I still can't understand what's the problem with the Lucene plugin... I guess we can release the RC anytime, as the problem appears only when clicking twice on the Rebuild index link, which is not something critical, and there's no data loss. And the plugin is now out of the core, so it can be released separately without requiring a new RC (unless the bug is in the core).
