Hi Amila, This is a maven issue, not a svn one.
Your problem is very likely that you don't have a global configuration for maven repositories (in a settings.xml file that uses maven). Make sure you follow the guide at http://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/Building, especially section "Installing Maven" and "Building With Maven" before you try to do it from your IDE.
