OK. So the process is to specify a hardwired version for all the non-core
components and when your build fails go and look to see if there is a newer
version available? I had been using ${platform.core.version} in my pom. I
guess I was just 'lucky' there was a 1.8 and 1.9 version available for
everything before this and expected it to continue..
