Thank you for your help! Unfortunately, the minute I saved changes to global.vm 
and refreshed the wiki my server returned an HTTP status 500 error. I tried 
restarting Apache and MySQL but the wiki still won't appear.

I'll direct this question over to the user's list and see if I can get help 
over there as well.

That one is in a velocity template, look in templates/global.vm
