Hi Michelle, Thanks for your interest in XWiki and its GSOC projects. As you know, the GSOC program has a timeline http://socghop.appspot.com/document/show/gsoc_program/google/gsoc2010/faqs#timeline. All you need to do is to watch for the application period and submit your proposal for your selected project.
