I think it's better not to include it if it's too rushed and instead postpone it to 2.4M1. OTOH it's nice to have it if it's done. Since this should be an extension, it could maybe even be released after the 2.3 release (unless there are "hardcoded" ties with the platform). Let us know what you wish to do.
