If attachments are the culprit, you should expect "OutOfMemory HeapSpace"
errors. Permgen errors are
indicative of not enough space for the classes which XWiki includes. Jython
(used by the {{code}}
macro) is known to cause permgen errors if permgen is not increased.
I have myself encountered these errors and found that by increasing the permgen
space to 128MB, I
could make them go away permanently.
