No, there is no misunderstanding, the rights service works as reported
in the issue. I have twice proposed a vote to not consider 'delete'
rights at document level, which is the quick fix, but the votes did not
pass. So, in the default configuration, 'delete' and 'edit' rights are,
in practice, equivalent.

Hopefully we can get these issues cleared up today and tomorrow and I'll push a
build into staging tomorrow or over the weekend so we can
