Hi devs, I've been sitting on this for a few months already. Basically I've implemented this git module: http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Git+Module
My plan is to use it on xwiki.org to provide committer statistics. Thus I'd like to propose to commit it in xwiki-platform (with our rule of committing there what we use for xwiki.org, similar to xwiki-platform-jira). Of course it wouldn't be bundled by default in XE.
