Vincent, Banning by IP has some value, but it does not deal with our big concern- bad actors. If we have a member who is trashing the community or continually posting garbage and non-helpful comments, or worse yet, doing illegal things, we need a way to ban that person (e.g. e-mail and user ID) not the IP.
