I don't think this is the right solution, for at least 3 reasons:

   - We want search results to be unified for all users. If I talk to you
   on the phone and tell you "search for "SOME WORD" and click on the second
   result" I need to know you're looking at the same list of results that I am
   looking at
   - Almost no user will know how to use the query boot anyway. Most of
   them will not be aware of XWiki's data model and how to use the query boost
   parameters
   - Most of the time, it's the wiki admin that will want to be able to
   decide what weight to give to each elements (title vs tags vs content for
   instance). This is why I believe that the "query boost" part should go in
   the administration section rather than in the "advanced search" menu.

- 'reset' button: I already added one in the facets zone 'Refine your

The "reset" button would be equivalent to emptying the query boost line so
that it reverts to default.
