Most of them will not be aware of XWiki's data model and how to use the query boost parameters - Most of the time, it's the wiki admin that will want to be able to decide what weight to give to each elements (title vs tags vs content for instance). This is why I believe that the "query boost" part should go in the administration section rather than in the "advanced search" menu. - 'reset' button: I already added one in the facets zone 'Refine your > search' > The "reset" button would be equivalent to emptying the query boost line so that it reverts to default.
