I think that to test the function you're going to have to have almost an entire editor. If you want to try out an editor which is almost nothing but the Operational Transformation function, you can start playing with the example server in ChainPad ( https://github.com/xwiki-contrib/chainpad ) but that too is a unique algorithm so integration of your code might be difficult.
