I would like to revive this topic, as we are currently in need for a navigation panel.
The jsTree is (for now) just another item added to the list of "experimental solutions", it's even not installable with the Extension Manager. Heck, I don't even know how to use/install this one! I, and many more users, can really use an official solution :-) Meanwhile, I have seen "Skol", the "XWiki administrator" hanging around the extension.xwiki.org all day long.
