We don't know for sure that the percentages are the same if we take into account only XWiki users. It would be interesting to see for instance the distribution of user agents that access xwiki.org . Adding browser info in Active Installs application is not easy because the ping requests are made by the server not by the client/browser. In any case, I'm not against supporting IE 8-11. I just think that XWiki users using older versions of IE should give something back in return for the additional effort we have to spend with workarounds for IE bugs. How many XWiki bugs related to IE have been reported by such XWiki-IE users versus XWiki active contributors that don't use IE but that test XWiki on IE (like Sorin, Manuel, Andreea)?
