Hi Richard, XWiki's documents can be exported [1] to various formats, regardless of the actual database internally used for storage of a particular instance.
Importing [2] previously exported XWiki document is also possible (again regardless of the database you use), but only for XAR [3] exports, since the other export formats (pdf, rtf, html, etc.) are one way only, designed to be displayed on external viewers.
