I investigated this approach and blue seemed to be the most used color for
the current step. For the next step, I don't know if grey is the best
color, but I tried another several ones and they didn't fit with Flamingo
Skin.

I think they are useful and they help the user to identify quickly that
field's meaning.
I know that some of them aren't well chosen, but I there weren't that many
to choose from and I thought that those were the best fit.

Honestly, I also wanted to move them to the left, but I didn't have the
courage since all the other apps have the 'Add' button on the right and I
thought that maybe this approach won't fit in the patterns from Flamingo.

I agree with Jean on this one. I don't think end-users would be that
intuitive to find application's actions in 'More actions' button from
above. But that may be wrong, I don't know for sure.
