Hi Alex, This macro is already in a git repository at https://github.com/xwiki/xwiki-platform/blob/master/xwiki-platform-core/xwiki-platform-attachment/xwiki-platform-attachment-ui/src/main/resources/XWiki/AttachmentSelector.xml
If you wish to improve it, wouldn’t the best be to provide a PR for it? Otherwise it means you’ll fork it which is not very nice since it means a lot of extra work later on to merge it. WDYT?
