I devs, I just started as an experiment a contrib project dedicated to provide contrib oriented parent poms on https://github.com/xwiki-contrib/parent.
Right now it contains a pom to use for extension depending on commons/rendering (parent-commons) and one for extension depending on platform (parent-platform) and also a release script. I just did a release for current LTS branch (6.4).
