Hello,

A few suggestions for those traveling on a budget or who have never been to Death Valley:

There is a convenience store and several restaurants available to dine in adjacent to where we are staying. As you know prices in convenience stores tend to be higher than a regular grocery store. Prices in convenience stores in remote locations tend to be even higher, so if you're looking to save some money I recommend stocking up ahead of time on those items you may need or want.

Bring a cooler with your beverage of choice (soda, water, juice, milk). The rooms have mini-refrigerators.

Bring snack items if you like to snack throughout the day or evening (chips, pretzels, trail mix, candy, etcetera).

I would also recommend bringing breakfast items if you don’t plan on eating out every morning. Individual packets of breakfast cereals with fruit are a light and satisfying breakfast.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
