Hi all,
some time ago i haved trouble setting the dhcrelay agent, from the
2.0pl6 package, that didn't worked for me until Ted send me a patch.Now it's
working but i found something that for me is bad.I have two linux boxes with kernle
2.0.36 and four nic each.Only one is on the same subnet.Like is it easy to
understand i use only one for dhcpd and the other for the relay.Another thing
clear is that without any parameters the relay take all the interfaces and
send the request to the dhcp server also for the same network that dhcp
listen for.
Tee not thing less clear, for me,is that when i start it with the parameters
for the interface -i eth0 -i eth1 it doesn't work anymore.I tested it with
the debug option and the only error is send_packet: error network
unreachable.Why??
I would not like to go to up with pl version of dhcpd because i've patched this version
with the dynamic dns option, and it works very well.There is something wrong??
My routing table seems to work, because like i saied without any parameters
it works, anyway i have the right 255.255 entry for each if.
It is possible to upgarde only the realy agent, if it is a problem of
version??
