Hello !!!

I've installed DHCPd on my linux box and it works like a charm. The only
problem is that I don't which addresses are taken. I have to check in
/var/state/dhcp directory, but I don't want to do this. Is it possible
that dhcp would generate a file like /etc/hosts so that I could just
write:

ping windowse1
ping windowse2
etc.

Is this possible? If so how?
