Hi Simon,

I have a small remark about firewall and masquerading. You need ipchains instead of
ipfwadm for kernel 2.2.x . Another remark if you want to use dhclient you need
kernel 2.2.3 as the socks part is corrupted for lower versions of 2.2.x that is.
This causes dhclient not to work.

Regards,

Joop Boonen.

I'm using IP masquerading too but on a kernel 2.2.3 . In combination it dhclient.

I hope it's any help.
