This mailing list is for discussions about the Internet Software
Consortium DHCP server, not the dhcpcd client, which is not an ISC
product.   I can tell you that on Linux 2.2, the ISC DHCP client
doesn't support token ring either, but if you run Linux 2.0, it should
work fine.   The problem is that in Linux 2.2 they broke the socket
API so that it couldn't be used by the DHCP client, and the API that
is available doesn't easily support token ring because the
encapsulation is so complicated.   If there are patches to dhcpcd,
you'll have more luck asking on a Linux mailing list than on the ISC
mailing list.
