Packet traces aren't very useful for debugging server core dumps and
hangs, unfortunately - I need to see what the server printed when it
exited. The server will not exit without printing some kind of
message. If it didn't print a message, then it must have dumped core,
and the question is where the core dump went.

The right way to debug this, if you can, is to run the server under
gdb and do a stack trace when it dies, or if it's going into an
infinite loop, to break out of the loop and see where it is. Also
send me the output of the server prior to it exiting, hanging, or
whatever.

The server should not be hanging, dumping core or exiting because of
RAS packets - there's no need to justify your need for the server not
to do this. The behaviour you describe is simply wrong. If you can
get me the debugging information, I will fix it.
