Hi,

we are currently operating DHCP via a Multi-Homed-Host (FreeBSD 3.1) for
two different Networks. This machine is also the Gateway between these
tweo Networks...

Now, we'll change the Networks to operate on Layer 3 Switches (Alcatel
Packet Engines)... Since these do the Routing the FreeBSD-Box will only
be connected then to one of the two networks.

However, the Packet Engines operate as DHCP-Relay-Servers...

Now, my question: How do I have to configure the DHCP-Server to decide
which network definitions to use for a DHCP-Request via the Relay??

Currently it's simple as it knows what interface the Request came thru
and can use the appropriate networks definitions. But what about this
DHCP-Relay????

Thanx for any hints!
