Hi all,
apologies for covering old ground but some time ago someone posted that
they had a program which would check an NT workstations hostname against
the dhcpd server and set it accordingly. I had a look at it at the time
but we didn't need to use it, I've since mentioned this magical program to
someon else who is interested but have of course lost it.

The web page I downloaded it from has gone ( Somewhere at manchester Uni)
and I've lost my archive of the mailing list.

It was called something like chkhstnam.exe

Does this ring any bells with anyone?
