Please help!
I am needing to transition a set of vxworks clients to boot off a Solaris
2.6 machine. These clients are currently booting off a SG Indigo machine
using the IRIX bootp server. I cannot determine just what to do to convert
this operation over to DHCP/bootp off the Solaris machine -- either using
the DHCP service provided with Solaris 2.6 or using the ISC DHCP service;
all I can be sure of is that it is not nearly as straightforward as using
IRIX bootp!
Thanks very much in advance,
John Parsons
What follows is an example portion of the /usr/etc/bootptab from the Indigo:
