Hi all,

We've recently started DHCPD here, and it's working succesfully so far.
System config is:-

Linux RedHat 5.1 (kernel 2.0.36)
DHCP version 2.0 b1pl6 (installed from RPM package)

The dhcp config file at the moment is set to hand out IP addresses to a
few machines, and they all have "hardware ethernet" and "fixed address"
statements. This all works, but nothing is ever written to
/etc/dhcpd.leases. Is this behaviour normal for fixed address
allocation? The dhcpd.leases man page does not seem to make any
reference to this, and I suspect something is not working quite right.

Can anyone enlighten me?

TIA

Mike
