Hello,
We have been using ISC-DHCP server past a year, happily.
It manages 1100 addresses over 17 subnets well.
Thank you, _Mellon_ .
I have a question.
If some one buid a bogus DHCP server on some subnet,
can I detect it ? how?
DHCP service could be installed by less experienced
NT server administrator.
(we never have this case, but I think it may happen.)
Is there any tool like
* say DHCP DISCOVER
* collect DHCP OFFER replies, show them.
* quit. (no need to DHCP REQUEST)
I think it will be so cut off version of dhclient,
but I'll have to compile and run on every subnet
(it is small problem).
Or, is there easy way ?
