Well, I managed to get the subnet that has thse SGI O2's upgraded
to DHCPD 2.0 release, but it failed to solve my problem. It tried
the always-reply-1048 to no avail.

I am trying to boot SGI O2's diskless.. However, in the process of
booting them, they bootp and then set a netaddr variable in the
prom and boot.

After they restart, they fail to boot. What is different according
to what I am watching in the tcpdump is that the request for BOOTP
response is coming from the ip address stored in boot rom. The problem
is that the request seems to be ignored by the server.

I have resorted to puting a 0.0.0.0 in the nvram after it boots
to trick it into BOOTPing and booting on the next reboot.

I really should not have to do this.

Anyone out there manage to get IRIX diskeless systems booted with ISC DHCPD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
