Hi Abyot and all, been testing out the new custom forms for event capture and it works great.
- One question that came to mind: Regarding event date and latitude/longitude (given that "capture coordinates" is enabled) - should we instead of displaying at the top of the form allow for inserting those fields directly into the custom form? This would allow the users to create completely tailored forms and integrate the event date / lat/long fields into their form with the same style and desired position. See screenshot of how it is now. http://www.pixentral.com/show.php?picture=1OmNHDGc28wcxeOA9T5q5LKiZdyNfK1 I know one issue with event date is that its a mandatory field and must be included in the form and that we would have to create some validation for it, ie. you cannot save a custom form without including the event date field. Another alternative is to fall back to current date for event date if not specified in the form. I think this would be an important improvement to custom forms. Any thoughts? Lars
