To app devs, it's time to upgrade core to version 2.24-SNAPSHOT for all apps sitting on GitHub.
*Steps:* 1. create a 2.23 repository on Github (a fork of current master) so that we can back-port bugfixes. 2. upgrade the version in the pom.xml file to 2.24-SNAPSHOT <version>2.24-SNAPSHOT</version> 3. deploy that version to maven sonatype repo and let me know when it's done.
