This mail (forwarded from the Geonetwork list, sorry for
cross-posting) may  be of interest for the ongoing mapping client
development.

Geonetwork is a spatial metadata catalogue. Being able to consume
layers from such a catalogue would potentially be of interest to
implementers building a mapping client with DHIS2 as well.
