it's clearer now... space is allowed.... but THERE IS no MECHANISM to check out 
duplication of translated names between languages.
For example when translating an dael from VN to EN (while the current 
database-DB is Vietnamese) ... if the EN translation of the dael is a 
duplication of the existing daels... there is no WARNINGs/ALERTs from the 
sys... until an error happens (with mesage about BATCH query stuff).
Maybe a check-up should be included here... among the language because when we 
OPEn this translation function to users (working on multi-locales/languages)... 
this should be taken care of as well!!!

Bug description:
When translating items, users translate name and short names, but shortname 
textbox hasn't limitation. And after save the new shortname, the system 
generate error.
