This is not really a bug I think, but rather a UI problem. By clicking
enough times through the dates, I can actually get the desired period
that I want. Might could be improved upon, but not a major problem.

Bug description:
The date calender in the data browser seems to be hardwired to years later
than 2000. For years earlier than this, it is not possible to use the calendar
to select a date.
